Hello!  Everything went really well! Thank you very much for checking in on us & for helping us plan our destination wedding. It was beautiful. We met other couples getting married at the resort that were the same age and had the same story as us. Attached is our wedding photo from Sandals so you can see how happy we were!

We'd like to thank you so much for all of your hard work making every part of this trip amazing. Everyone had such a fantastic time (many of them extended their stays...as you know ;) ). The only regret we had was not being able to stay longer. The staff at Azul Beach was so friendly and accommodating. We lounged on the beach, we snorkeled, we ate great food and then partied to fullest at night! The beach was immaculate. The ocean was so clear, beautiful and surprisingly warm. It was an event that all of us will forever remember.

El Dorado Royale was also very special in it's own way. The swim-up Casitas are unexplainable. You have to be there to understand how cool they really are. The El Dorado also had fantastic food and everyone was very nice.

I hope you can open these!! We decided to do a little PR "stint" in Jamaica for Shelli's Travel!!

I know we've been back for almost three months already-sorry! Things here have literally been falling apart-had some leaky pipes and replaced bathroom floors, fixtures, and kitchen ceilings-NOT pleasant. I could sure use a vacation now more than anything!! :-)

Anyway-do with these as you please-I really like your Shelli's mug in the ocean zest!! Delete or whatever.

My husband and I decided that we wanted a destination wedding for two reasons. First, we love to travel and wanted to have our wedding in a new and exotic locale that we had never visited. Second, we wanted to avoid the hefty expenditures and headaches associated with traditional weddings held at home. When we got engaged, my husband bought me a Destination Weddings magazine. After seeing the beautiful pictures and scenery in the magazine, we were sold. Shelli Nornes was our rep and was fantastic! She guided us through the process of selecting a location and resort that would meet all of our requirements. We wanted to make sure we found a location and resort that could accommodate a large group of people, that wasn’t too far from home (Fiji was out of the question – we did want to have guests show up!) and was affordable and beautiful. We ultimately decided on the Riu Palace Punta Cana resort in the Dominican Republic. Shelli did a wonderful job of coordinating the travel for our 80 guests. Our group had a lot of questions and Shelli was very patient with us and always responded to e-mails and phone calls quickly with the information that was requested.

Both my husband and I are attorneys, and as such, we did not have a great deal of time to invest in planning a wedding. Shelli was terrific! She was easy to correspond with via email and paid attention to every last detail. I have to admit, both my mother and I were probably not the easiest people to deal with. We made plans, changed plans, and asked about 1,000 questions, all of which were thoughtfully and quickly responded to by Shelli.  Shelli also did a phenomenal job finding great deals. Our guests received the absolute best price.

When we started planning our wedding, we knew we wanted it to be a destination wedding. After doing some research on the internet, we decided that Mexico would be both gorgeous and affordable for the 25 friends and family members who would be attending our wedding.

We signed up with DestinationWeddings.com and were quickly contacted by our Destination Wedding Specialist, Shelli N. Shelli was great at providing information and helped us decide which resorts in Mexico would be the best fit for us and our guests. She did a wonderful job helping our guests who are spread throughout the United States coordinate their travel plans to the Riviera Maya, Mexico. We had initially been a little skeptical about using DestinationWeddings.com, but it turned out to be the best decision we made when planning our wedding.

Our trip was split between two resorts. The first week was spent with our family and friends at the Grand Palladium all inclusive resort in the Rivera Maya, south of Playa del Carmen. It was a great choice and everyone was able to relax and enjoy themselves. Our wedding on the beach was perfect and the resort did a great job of making our night both special and memorable. Anil and I traveled back up the coast to the second resort, the El Dorado Royale all inclusive resort, for our honeymoon. We splurged on a Casita Suite and spent our days lounging in the sun. The food was delicious and there was always someone catering to our every need.

We had such a great time in Mexico that we are already working with Shelli to plan our one year anniversary trip back to the Grand Palladium resort!

Just wanted to say thank you again for all your help.  The trip was amazing.  We enjoyed another upgrade on the second floor of the swim-up river suites.  I think we've been spoiled for our trips to come.  My only complaint is that it rained every afternoon and that we didn't get to stay longer.  The rain wasn't a big deal though, it made us get out of the sun and relax even more.  Thanks again!!
